Our physician assistants (PA) support the Anesthesiologists/Critical Care Intensivists during patient care. PA training is usually 2 to 3 years in duration leading to the award of a master's degree. PAs learn the same curriculum as a physician although the training is less extensive as doctors have four years of didactic and four years of residency or rotations.
