All of our anesthesiologists are board certified. Many have completed additional years of specialty training for critical care, pain, cardiac and transplant anesthesia. Meet our Physician Staff

CRNAs

We have over 100 Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) that assist the Anesthesiologists during surgery. CRNAs have a Masters in Science (MSN), are registered nurses (RN), have 1 year of experience in the intensive care unit (ICU), and complete a 2-3 year program in anesthesia. Meet our CRNA Staff

ARNPs

Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners support our Anesthesiologists when caring for critically ill patients. ARNP's are RNs with extensive clinical experience that complete clinical programs that usually grant a master's degree or a Doctorate of Nursing Practice.

PAs

Our physician assistants (PA) support the Anesthesiologists/Critical Care Intensivists during patient care. PA training is usually 2 to 3 years in duration leading to the award of a master's degree. PAs learn the same curriculum as a physician although the training is less extensive as doctors have four years of didactic and four years of residency or rotations. Meet our PA Staff
